Dana Pellebon

Dana Pellebon is a community activist that has been working against oppression in all forms for her adult life. She is the Executive Director of RCC Sexual Violence Resource Center in Dane County and also coordinates community partnerships for county-wide sexual assault victim services through the Sexual Assault Response Team, the Commission on Sensitive Crimes, and the Domestic Violence and Sexual Violence Coordinated Community Response Team. She is currently on the Board of Directors for OutReach LGBTQ+ Center, Urban Triage, Freedom Inc, and WorldBuilders. She has extensive experience working with persons experiencing homelessness through her work as the former Director of Housing and Operations at Porchlight. Her activism extends to all aspects of her life including art. She is a theater professional and has directed, acted, and produced theatrical works regionally and in New York. She is a co-founder of the Loud N Unchained Black Theater Festival and the principal of the Madison Theatre Collective. She is a part of the team to bring the Center for Black Excellence and Culture to life. She is additionally a Dane County Supervisor for District 33.
