We are Dane County’s only full-service sexual violence resource center.
Formerly the Rape Crisis Center, RCC has served survivors and their loved ones in Dane County since 1973. RCC provides vital crisis intervention services to survivors of all forms of sexual violence including recent or past sexual assault, incest, sexual harassment, and sexual exploitation.
For our 50th anniversary in 2023, we changed our name to RCC Sexual Violence Resource Center to better encompass the full range of experiences of survivors, while keeping our legacy as part of a national movement intact. As one of the first ‘rape crisis centers’ in the nation, RCC has been a leader in advocating for those harmed by sexual violence by centering survivors, promoting societal change, and committing to be an evolving force for social equity.

It’s Phone A Thon!
From September 16–30th, RCC is asking our community to become monthly donors through Phone A Thon, a two-week campaign hosted by Madison’s Pride King, Elliot WageGap! When you pledge just $5/month, you help build the foundation that makes 24/7 support and advocacy possible for survivors in our community. And as a thank you, you’ll receive your very own limited-edition RCC x T.L. Luke mug.
