On April 25, Madison Tango Society is excited to share with RCC a beginner's look at Argentine Tango.

Recognized for its cultural significance by UNESCO in 2008, the music, poetry, and history of tango dance embody and encourage diversity and cultural dialogue. Tango social dance is improvised, and the essence of tango movement is walking and its variations.
For this class, please wear casual clothes that you can move comfortably in. Dance shoes are great to wear, but clean smooth-soled shoes with minimal traction or thick socks work too. No partner is needed. Members of the Madison Tango Society board of directors will provide instruction.
