Healing & Counseling
Getting support from professionals and from people who have had similar experiences are two common ways that victims/survivors heal after a sexual assault. The Rape Crisis Center offers free individual counseling for survivors (ages 12 and up) and their support networks. We also facilitate or help facilitate a variety of free support groups.
Our trained counselors can meet with you individually to help you process and heal from the emotions and complications that sometimes follow a sexual assault. We can meet with you at any of the following locations:
- RCC Main Office: 2801 Coho Street, Suite 301 (Madison)
- UW Campus Office: 333 East Campus Mall, Room 7901 (Madison)
- Edgewood Campus Office: 1000 Edgewood College Dr (Madison)
- Madison College Campus Office: 1701 Wright St (Madison)
- For youth ages 12-18: Any school in Dane County OR RCC Main Office
To schedule: Call our helpline (608-251-7273) between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
